Camille

First-generation college graduate from Claremont McKenna College with a Bachelors degree in Government and Media Studies, Camille combines her intrinsic background with her interest in global media and global affairs.

Camille gained foundational skills working Claremont Marketing Group as a marketing associate and manager. Later, she worked as the sole Social Media Coordinator for the Keck Center of International and Strategic Studies, wearing many hats as photographer and social media manager.

In December 2023, Camille completed an internship at the district office of Congressman Takano CA-39 where she gained invaluable experience logging over 250 cases into the central ticketing system, reviewing casework, coordinating her own Congressional district event, and creating social media content and video production for the Congressman's platforms.

Born and raised in Southern California, Camille is Mexican-American with a varied palette in music and film from various countries. During the pandemic, she encountered a Korean Trot TV show competition, captivating her interest in Korean entertainment, trot music, and film. She continued her interest by taking Korean language classes and a Korean Culture and Cinema course at Claremont McKenna.

Camille aspires to work in a creative marketing or project management capacity within the entertainment space. Camille wants to combine her strong skillset and passion in global media in an environment that intersects these aspects, challenges her, and fosters multicultural experiences through media.
